Theft from motor vehicles
Posted 04/14/10
Chief Kellar announced today that there has been a rash of vehicle break-ins that have been occurring in surrounding Townships around Littlestown Borough. Over the past several weeks unknown individuals have been combing that area late at night checking for unlocked vehicles and garage doors. The subjects will the enter the vehicles and search for money, GPS units, IPODs or anything else that has value and can be easily sold. I am urging all residents to take extra precaution in making sure your property and vehicles are secure and please make sure all items of value are not left in plain view for someone to take. The Littlestown Police are taking addition steps with extra patrols in order to prevent occurrences such as these from taking place in the Borough. Residents are urged to report any suspicious activity to the police. Thank you for your assistance and cooperation in this matter. Chief Kellar, Littlestown Police Department
